Q: What is “Low-E glass”?
A: Low-E stands for “low
emittance”. Glass with such a rating
is coated with a special additive that helps block the passage
of ultraviolet rays. By doing that, these windows help to reduce
glare, thus preventing the fading of carpeting and upholstery.
Low-E windows are also more thermally efficient. One of our sales
associates can help you determine if Low-E windows are right
for you.
